FORSPEC ACTFLEX EP 250 Hydrostatic Epoxy Primer

ACTFLEX EP 250 is a two-part epoxy polyamide coating that provides effective protection against water infiltration, rising damp, efflorescence, and hydrostatic pressure. Approved for use with potable water, it meets AS4020:2005 and SS375-2001 standards. Suitable for concrete, masonry, and cementitious surfaces, it acts as a primer, sealer, and damp-proofing barrier. It also supports moisture-sensitive coatings and serves as a hydrostatic barrier for negative side surfaces. Non-flammable, low Odour, and compatible with green concrete, it enhances adhesion and structural integrity.

Mixing Ration

1:1 (Part A:/Part B) by volume.

Coverage

Must be applied at a rate of 1.5m2/L in total (equivalent to two coats at

3.0m2/L per coat) to achieve an effective moisture barrier.

Recoat Time

4 hours at 25°C and 50% R.H.

Full Cure

7 days at 25°C and 50% R.H.

Waterproofing recoat time

24hrs after final coat@ 25 ̊C and 50% R.H. (longer in confined areas)

Pot Life

2 hours approx. at 25° C.

1 hour @ 35°C.
